As the collect for Proper 18 says, “Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them…” Studying the Bible helps ground our faith in the life and work of Jesus.
We know His life from the four gospels, so we invite you once a week to come explore the Gospel of Mark in a study led by parishioner Julie Aubry, who is studying divinity at the Catholic University of Paris, now near the end of her first diploma. We will reflect on the gospel story told by Mark as he "veils the rich truth of Jesus Christ behind irony, allusion, terseness, juxtaposition, repetition, and silence".

The Convocation’s Racial Justice Beloved Community, in partnership with EICS, presents a second session of their APL series “All Sinners Are Welcome.” Becoming Beloved Community invites you to participate in this online session led by the Rev. Canon Mpho Tutu Van Furth, Canon for Racial Justice and Beloved Community where she will encourage and teach us how to explore radical hospitality, self-reflection, and the pursuit of Beloved Community within the church. The Forum seeks to help parishioners deepen their understanding of Christian faith and life, drawing on scripture, reason and tradition to understand its relevance to our lives and to our world, attentive to God's hand in the co-evolution of our world and of our church.

Bilingual, LGBTQ+ affirming Contemplation and Compline
Contemplation and Compline meets every Wednesday evening in the Cathedral nave from 9:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Compline is the night prayer of the church and a peaceful way to end the day. It draws us closer to ourselves, our neighbor, and God. We assemble in silence, and then our voices join together to pray in loving, inclusive, expansive language for our needs and the needs of our siblings in Christ.
Everyone is welcome to join, and to bring their friends - the service is LGBTQ+ friendly, bilingual in English and French, and a large-print bulletin is provided.

We are delighted to invite you to join this new Bible Study Group on Wednesday evenings in the Fleetwood Room from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (January 8th- February 12th). All are welcome. No need to reserve.
As the collect for Proper 18 says, “Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them…” Studying the Bible helps ground our faith in the life and work of Jesus.
We know His life from the four gospels, so we invite you once a week to come explore the Gospel of Mark in a study led by parishioner Julie Aubry, who is studying divinity at the Catholic University of Paris, now near the end of her first diploma. We will reflect on the gospel story told by Mark as he "veils the rich truth of Jesus Christ behind irony, allusion, terseness, juxtaposition, repetition, and silence".
Bilingual, LGBTQ+ affirming Evening Prayer
Evening Prayer takes place every Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: a beautiful service of quiet reflection, scripture and prayer after a busy day. Everyone is welcome to join, and to bring their friends - the service is LGBTQ+ friendly and bilingual in English and French.

Ecumenical Service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
Celebrate the 2025 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity by attending an ecumenical service for local churches on Tuesday, January 21, at 8:30 PM at the L’Eglise protestante unie de l’Annonciation, 19 Rue Cortambert, 75016.
In recognition of the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, sisters and brothers of the ecumenical monastic community in Bose Italy prepared the theme, "Do you believe this?" (John 11:17-27). Archbishop of Paris Laurent Ulrich will preach and be joined by clergy from churches across Paris including our Dean James Harlan.
Enjoy music by choirs from St. George's Anglican Church and a Russian Orthodox church.
All are welcome after the service for a reception to meet one another.
